TDD

I do want to mention that I'm a huge fan of cucumber (both the vegetable and the TDD/BDD tool). Most of my projects are supported by Gherkin scenario's as I find it the easiest way to explain and expose implemented functionality. Also, experience has taught me that trying to make sense of tests (not formatted in the Given-When-Then format) can be pretty darn hard once the codebase gets older.

Training

Not only have I received training over the course of my career, but I have also been teaching several topics to (junior) colleagues and trainees as well. Topics that were covered include HTML, CSS, JS, Spring, Hibernate and TDD.

Portfolio

Since 2021, I've been focussing on mobile applications. Below you can find my current portfolio, which admittedly isn't all that impressive yet, but I'm only one single man and not a machine...

Muurke Klop (since 2021)	Follow along with all tournaments and competitions for "Muurke Klop". My first app ever. Still have a lot of ideas for this one, but not my priority right now...
Scorekeeper (since 2022)	Create and run your own tournaments and competitions. This is the app I'm currently focussing on, as it is part of the scorekeeper.io ecosystem.
Sitsefunt (since 2023)	Small but fun letters & numbers countdown game, themed in a retro eighties TV-show style. I created this one in order to flex my flutter muscles, and for my kids to practice their math skills.
Math School (since 2024)	Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at your own pace.
